Haircut and Rock Climbing

Samantha got her hair cut by Cindy, who is awesome and she does my hair and Aunt Sonal's hair too. I have known cindy for 8 years so she gushes over Sammy when she comes in. This is the first time Samantha let her cut AND style her hair, and she acted like such a little pincess.

We've taken Jason rock climbing a few times and he is completely hooked. He asks to go everyday. I took him today and snapped some shots of my little monkey. Now that he knows how to go for holds and do power moves though, he treats all public places as opportunties to practice. A few days ago he scaled the inside of the bathroom stall and climbed up and out instead of using the door while Sammy and I were still in the stall. Yesterday he climbed onto the conveyor at Target in the checkout aisle in a matter of milliseconds.

Jason is HD Compatible

So, its official that both Travis and Jason are more tech-savvy than I am. Yesterday I was truing to turn on Spongebob for Jason and he got frustrated with how long it was taking and grabbed the remote and did it himself! He even pointed out that he chose Nickelodeon HD, not the analog channel. Boy did I feel useless.

Sammy's Sick Day

This week Sammy wasn't feeling well so she stayed home with Daddy. She is a Daddy's girl through and through and only wants him when she is not feeling well. The spent the evening cuddling on the couch.

Then after being a good girl at the doctor, Sammy suckered Travis into buying her something. She picked out a bride's dress and was very proud of it!

Girls Day

Jason and Travis were off to go rockclimbing, and do boy stuff all day, so Sammy and I had some serious girl time.

SNOW DAY!

North Carolina actually got snow - about 4 inches which has completely shut down the state. I think the mayor is about to declare a national state of emergency. So, we PLAYED! More pics later!

The kids were SO excited this morning - almost as excited as Christmas Day!

WE dressed Sammy like Ralphie's brother from the Christmas Story so she had trouble walking without help!
